Co-Investigator Quality Improvement Lead

Christopher Jordan serves as Senior Director for Performance Improvement within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer for UC Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role he leads the efforts to build individual capability of improvement leaders and organizational capacity in performance improvement for transformational change throughout the organization and with those partners sharing the mission of advancing health and reducing suffering. He is a key leader, educator, and coach in the dissemination of the UC Health Performance Improvement Way – a systematic hybrid performance improvement approach of delivering better, safer, and smarter care at UC Health.

Mr. Jordan serves as the QI lead and is responsible for QI technical assistance and service for the Southwest Ohio QI Regional Hub. The QI Lead uses improvement sciences tools and methods to assist the leadership team in the selection of a QI focus, the development of a regional charter, the identification of project outcome and/or process measures and planning for regional adaptation of clinical change packages and patient education materials for the first year of the collaborative. He provides leadership in building QI capacity within the Southwest Regional Hub to contribute to achieving regional and statewide collaborative goals. This includes the design and delivery of QI education within the leadership team and the prospective collaborative partners. He also participates in monthly Regional Hub Collaboration meetings with the other Regional Hub QI leads and the collaboration QI Consultant to share best practices.
