Christine M. Burrows, M.D. is a board-certified internal medicine and pediatrics physician and Professor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She serves as Vice Chair of Ambulatory Operations and Population Health for the Department of Internal Medicine, as well as Quality and Value-Based Care Lead for General Internal Medicine. As an administrator she is passionate about developing high-functioning collaborative teams focused on continual improvement to deliver reliable, high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.
Over the past 15 years, Dr. Burrows has enjoyed leading her teams in local and national learning collaboratives, on topics such as Chronic Care Model, Patient-Centered Medical Home, Diabetes, Adverse Childhood Events, and most recently, an Ohio Racially-Just Hypertension Collaborative. Clinically, she has interest and experience in improving hypertension outcomes in vulnerable populations. Dr Burrows received her undergraduate BS Degree from Duke University, her MD Degree from the University of Virginia, and is currently pursing a Masters in Population Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
